My upgraded one-bedroom suite had the fridge, kitchen and washer-dryer I would want for an extended Bangkok visit.
A suite with room to settle in
I stayed in a one-bedroom suite at Novotel Living Bangkok Sukhumvit Legacy after an upgrade. It had a separate living room, a desk, a balcony, two televisions and much more storage than I needed for a short visit. The full-size fridge, cooking utensils and washer-dryer were the practical standouts: my laundry finished quickly and came out dry. I could see why this setup would suit a longer stay.
Breakfast, pool and staff
The pool was on the small side, but it had two sections and looked fun for children. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, with fresh fruit and the basics, although the selection was smaller than at some of the city’s luxury hotels. What stayed with me most was the staff: I watched the team handle an especially rude guest with patience, and the welcome I received was warm throughout.
Location and my verdict
I found the hotel close to Asok and the EmSphere mall, with restaurants, massage shops and street food nearby. Even with the busy Sukhumvit area close at hand, my room felt quiet. I would choose Novotel Living when I wanted an apartment-style room, laundry and a convenient base without paying for a high-end luxury hotel. The large suite I filmed was an upgrade, so I would check the booked room type before expecting the same space.
