Hotel Perrier was one of my more unusual Tokyo stays. It’s an adults-only hotel in Kabukicho, and my room was much larger than I expected for the price I paid at the time.
Ibis Styles Ginza gave me a simple base in Ginza, with a very small room and a breakfast I still remember. I didn’t receive a Platinum upgrade, but I did get an early check-in and a welcome amenity.
THE ROOM AND SERVICE
My room was tiny, as I expected in this part of Tokyo, but it was clean and had what I needed for a short stay. The friendly staff made the arrival easy. I’d choose it only if I was comfortable trading room space for a Ginza location.
THE BREAKFAST SURPRISE
Breakfast was served at the Thai restaurant. I could choose Thai noodle soup or curry, and I really enjoyed it. It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at an Ibis.
MY VERDICT
I’d stay here again for a straightforward Ginza trip if I found a good rate and planned to spend most of the day out. If I wanted more room or hotel facilities, I’d look at another option. My stay and the included benefits reflect what I had at that time; check what’s included for your dates.

THE ROOM
I stayed in a traditional Japanese-style room with a large bath that had a TV, a separate toilet with a washlet, a microwave and two fridges. The room also had slippers, pajamas, several amenities and two included drinks. The bed felt a little old, but I slept well.
LOCATION AND VERDICT
I found it convenient for Kabukicho nightlife, and the extra space made it feel like good value for my stay. I’d consider it if I wanted to spend time around Shinjuku’s entertainment district and didn’t need a conventional full-service hotel. It’s adults-only, so it’s not an option for families, and the experience won’t suit everyone. The low price I paid was specific to that booking and may not reflect current rates.
