Conrad Bangkok Residences Review: More Space, Older Rooms

What is different about the residences?

I stayed in a twin room in the Conrad Bangkok Residences after previously staying in an Executive King room in the hotel. The residence gave me more usable living space: a sofa, dining table, proper kitchenette, microwave and a much larger fridge. That makes it easier to settle in for a longer visit or keep snacks and drinks in the room.

The trade-offs I noticed

The room I filmed was comfortable, but the bathroom and furnishings felt older than the renovated Executive Floor room I had seen in the main hotel. My residence was on a lower floor, looking towards the pool and trees rather than the broader city view. I also did not receive Executive Lounge access with the residence, even with Hilton Diamond status. I would not assume that loyalty status changes the residence benefits; I would confirm the exact rate and inclusions before booking.

My verdict

I would choose the residence when I wanted more apartment-style space and planned to use the kitchenette. For a shorter stay, a newer room in the main hotel felt like the more polished experience. The two room types serve different needs, so I would compare the total price and benefits rather than choose by the Conrad name alone.
